Make Your Own Healthy Cookbook

I got a cute binder, some dividers and clear sleeves. When I find a good recipe online I print it out and put in in a sleeve and add to it's section. The best part is I can remove the individual recipe while cooking so as to take up less room and the sleeve keeps it clean, just wipe with damp towel.

More Information:

Every week I make out my meal plan on my computer, print it out and put it in the pocket in the front of the cook book. I then take all the recipes I need for that week and move them to the front for easy access and so I can refer to them while making my shopping list for the week.

  • Great...I use a photo album and since I'm old, I have a ton of recipe cards. I've adapted them to a healthier version and slide them in the album. I love your idea of putting the ones that will use that week in the front. I'll try that.
Thx a bunch. - by CANNINGNANNY

I do the same thing! It's the best way to keep recipes from all different sources. - by LITTLEMIKEYSMOM
  • My cook book is just a simple binder with dividers to keep it organized into sections like chicken or vege dishes. I add to my personal cookbook all the time! (In fact it recently grew into TWO binders...) - by JENIFIREHARP
  • I do this too. I used to shove the recipes into a plastic bag. Searching for favorites was a nuisance. Organizing the recipes has been a huge help. - by CHARLOTTE1947
  • thanks for shring this idea...i use a large box intended for index cards and fold my recipes in half after I print them. I like your idea better! - by PPELTON
