When starting to drink water add some juice from an orange to flavor it but don't add sugar since the orange has some in it. It tastes good and cuts the tastes of plain water til you get used to drinking it plain. You can also add lemon juice to it.
My mom gave me this genius idea. Use an inexpensive swim noodle (found at Dollar Tree for one dollar) to insulate outside pipes and faucets. Cut a length of the noodle to fit the pipe or faucet, cut a slit in the side, and slip it over the pipe/faucet. Inexpensive, and works just as good as the more expensive pipe insulation.
