A daily drink of apple cider vinegar with honey and cayenne pepper makes for a real pick me up and colon cleanser
8 oz water, 2tbsp apple cider vinegar (Bragg brand) & honey to taste each morning and before meals keeps the digestive system moving. If you can handle cayenne pepper add and enjoy 244
If you think you can't include oatmeal in your diet because you don't like oatmeal that's sweetened or fruity, try some savory seasonings instead. A few shakes of that spice blend you love on chicken, a little garlic salt, or even a dash of cayenne pepper -- whatever pleases your palette, give it a shot.
My personal favorite: Trader Joe's 21 Spice Salute (salt free!), paprika (for color), and a tiny dash of cayenne pepper.
I have started using cayenne on just about everything: popcorn, rice, any meat, soup, potatoes, even on apples. It adds a little spice, but not really any flavor. I find that somehow this "tricks" my taste buds into forgetting there isn't any salt on my food, and I don't have regrets later!
