As soon as I get home from the grocery store I go ahead and prep my veggies for snacking.
I wash the fruits & veggies, cut them if necessary and store them properly for freshness. Then when I'm craving a snack I have everything already clean and ready to go! This makes healthy snacking convenient. Sometimes I just need a snack- quick! This does the trick!
I spend some time on Sunday prepping healthy lunches for the week. In summer, I poach and shred some chicken-i use it for salads at lunch and dinner stirfrys. In winter, I make a pot of healthy home made soup every weekend. I keep a few servings in the fridge, and freeze the rest in individual portions for last minute meals.
