When eating out, ask for a to go container and pack half of it even before you start for next day's lunch. This way, you won't be tempted to eat the whole thing!

    Yes, I do the same thing. I go out to lunch once a week and pack 1/2 away in a container before starting the meal. Not only do I get the benefit of eating a sensible meal, I get two meals for the price of one!

    Don it many times - if deciding before to take 1/2 home, usually end up eating more than I intended to. Doing it right away makes it "out of sight, out of mind".
