protein after workout
It is good to eat up to 10 g. of protein within 30 min. If working out. My favorite way to do that is to eat low calorie string cheese. It has 9g of protein and is not only low in calories, it is portable in your workout bag and helps cool you down. I also use it to get in sufficient calcium during the day and no carbs involved.4

In the morning I cut and prepare 3 or 4 snacks for the day. I cut up carrots in fun shapes, (vary it each day), and cucumbers, celery with peanut butter inside, ect. That way when I go looking for a fast and easy snack it is right there, and it's healthy!
