After FINALLY setting the excuses aside for not getting out to walk, I have found that I actually ENJOY my evening walks. I have three boys and I have mapped out a route to walk for EACH of them. One night, one route, one boy! They enjoy the one-on-one time, too!

Make a big pot of soup once or more times weekly. This is the time to add all those left over veggies - even new ones you never really enjoyed! It really fills you up before lunch or dinner. Even a small bowl during snack time. Gets those veggies in. Loads of books on low-cal soups from Amazon, etc.306

If the recipe calls for 1 cup of sugar, I put a generous 1/4 cup of instant dry milk in the bottom of the measuring cup and then add the sugar. You can experiment with your recipes and add more or less dry milk. 306
I am reducing the sugar, adding calcium and my family does not even notice!
