Another visual that works for me when I'm hungry is imaging carrying the food with me all day (or forever!) instead of eating it. Would you want to carry that bag of fast food, then that piece of cake, then that bag of chips, then that steak dinner? Nope. The lighter the meal, the better. :)

When I put any food in my mouth I imagine how it affects my body. If I get a negative image in my mind I won't eat it. For example, I get the best images from eating kale and spinach, as I imagine them clearing "gunk" out of my body as they pass through. I imagine ice cream (my weakness) making my blood sweeter and elevating my glucose levels, so that helps me avoid it. It works for me!!!! 334
