I love this and it is true. I have been here since December playing with calories numbers from 1200-1500 aday and unless i stay on 1200 calories aday i can't lose . Last month i adveraged 1350-1400 aday a gained 1.6. This is due to health issues and medication! So i am here and will stay here to help others and be happy with whatever weight i get . I get weighted once amonth now so i don't get stressed. Thank you for your input on this its very eye opening!

I know what I can do, and I try not to let others push me. I have to work at my own pace, and slowly, I am making progress. Good luck! to all.

No Salt Added
For most veggies I buy frozen because I like how they taste better then canned, however when it comes to green beans to me frozen tastes funky. So, I recently switched myself and family to no salt added canned veggies. I did so by first doing half and half, one can of regular and one of no salt added. I continued this for a couple of weeks and now I only buy no salt added and no one in my family has even commented that they noticed a difference.
What has been helping me with losing weight is to be able to visualise how much I've lost (and need to go)... To do this I visualise it in terms of cans of coke (or any canned drink)...
Most are 330ml which equates to 330g (in the UK anyway), so it's 3 cans per kg - or if you're using lbs, it's 1lb = 1 and a third cans cans...
So when you 'only' lose just under 1lb in a week, it's quite a lot, when you actually pick up a can. 2lb is 2.5 cans, etc, etc.
I was never a plain water drinker but have found a solution that works for me. I have a 21oz glass and use it with each meal to get in the water; I also drink 8 oz before bed...Water solution....SOLVED!
