While on the treadmill or elliptical, I listen to music and move to the rhythm. I forget i'm working out and kind of drift into the song a bit.
Tonight i played "I know you want me" by pit bull, on the elliptical and I was up to 79 rpms without realizing it! It really takes the boredom out of repetitious movements like walking or cycling.

Trick yourself into exercising by using the Wii or similar device. Get moving for a small amount of time and then build up to 60 plus minutes. Soon you will enjoy exercise and want to try other things.

Even though I love Zumba, there are times when I dread going to the gym. Everyone has those days. Sometimes I'm just tired! On the 10 min. drive to the gym, I crank up the volume on the radio in my car and play some upbeat music. It really pumps me up for my zumba class. By the time I get to the gym, I am ready to get in there and dance my butt off! 353
