While on the treadmill or elliptical, I listen to music and move to the rhythm. I forget i'm working out and kind of drift into the song a bit.
Tonight i played "I know you want me" by pit bull, on the elliptical and I was up to 79 rpms without realizing it! It really takes the boredom out of repetitious movements like walking or cycling.

Trick yourself into exercising by using the Wii or similar device. Get moving for a small amount of time and then build up to 60 plus minutes. Soon you will enjoy exercise and want to try other things.

If it ain't fun, find something else! (PS: not moving is NOT an option) Don't like running? try dancing. Hate gyms? Try videos. Look rediculous in helmets (you're not alone)? stick to stationary bikes. Into video games? Wii it up. Refuse to miss your 'stories'? EARN them with commercial fitness breaks! There are thousands of ways to work out! Keep trying new things till you find something you enjoy! Then GO DO IT! "I don't like to exercise" is simply not an excuse!
