Sit on an exercise ball instead of a chair while on the computer. Walk up and down stairs when you arrive at the laundry room early and your clothes are still drying. Park farther away. Take the stairs instead of the elevator........ every little bit counts.

Make biscotti out of leftover muffins for portion control
If you have muffins left over, you can use this tip to give them new life.
Preheat the oven to 325F. Cut up each muffin into 4~6 thin pieces and place in a baking pan covered with a baking sheet. Bake each side for 10~12 minutes (flipping once), then cool as necessary.
Since each muffin yields 4~6 biscotti, you can take about 3 of them as a portion-controlled snack. And on top of that the muffins won't go to waste--an excellent use of resources.
