Plan your workouts for the week but allow a bit of flexibility. For instance if you are scheduled to workout on Wednesday but are unsuccessful make it up on another day - don't feel bad just move on

I try to plan, but sometimes life does get in the way. You're right, just move on, and make it up the next day!

Very good advice. I like keeping a schedule, and sometimes feel bad when life gets in the way and I miss a day - but you are right. Just get right back on track ASAP.

I have a workout schedule...when I am bored, frustrated or just witha spare moment I incorporate some of the SP exercises into my day! As they say, I can always find 10 minutes!!!

Great advice! Although I know I'm "only" human and realistically cannot expect perfection, I still often do! Inevitably, I disappoint myself, and the self-recrimination is so demoralizing I often give up entirely. This way, it seems not like a "mortal sin" but like a glitch in schedule that needs a simple accommodation!
LOVE IT! emoticon

I love this piece of advice. We're advised to plan out our meals for the week to prevent us from eating crap and make sure we eat healthy. Why not apply the same advice to our workouts.

REDROSEMARIE 3/11/2012 8:46:00 AM

I find planning ahead is very helpful, but I have never planned ahead for exercising other than my 3 scheduled classes per week. Thanks for the tip, I will give that a try. emoticon
CMORISAK 3/11/2012 7:43:00 AM

I'll have to try planning them instead of waiting to see if I can squeeze them in..thanks.
