Food Continues To Bake After Oven Is Off



When I'm baking, I turn the oven off 10 minutes or so before the end of the baking time. The food continues to bake, and I save electricity and money!

    U R so right. When a recipe says to bake something 15-18 mins. (or something like that) I set the timer for 15 minutes, check, turn off heat and if it needs more time I leave it in the oven with temp off. It works every time. - by JOANW1
