We've been frequenting farm markets and farm stands. We've recently purchased a farm share as well. What we've been doing aside from enjoying all the yummy fresh produce is jarring and preserving parts of the share.
Sometimes it a soup, other times a jam or jelly and we are even just preserving it either pickled or a hot pack. If you are into jarring, then definitely give it a try.

We round to the closest 5 or 0. When we pay a bill or for any item we buy, If the total is 22 we round to 25 and "forget" about the remaining 3 dollars, If is 26 we round to 30. At the end of the year that "forgotten" money sure adds up
I just got a book all about drying your own food at home. This is going to work great b/c we do a garden every year, I cant wait to get my dehydrating on!
