I found out that I really needed a goal in order to add Strength training to my routine. I set a goal of being able to do a real pushup and then I made a plan to reach that goal. I found having a goal to reach for really made it easier for me to add ST.
By working on my push-up goal I have been able to increase the number of modified push-ups from not even 1 good one to 10 good modified push-ups. It may be months before I can finally do a real one but I am motivated by my progress.
