I found when jogging, my pace tended to match the music I was listening to, and I found myself slowing down to certain songs. Find a song that has a beat comfortable to jog to, then make a playlist using songs with a beat near the same tempo, or throw in a few with a faster tempo to shake things up

This works for walking, cycling and other exercises as well!

    This works for me as well. I set up an exercise playlist on my Ipod for this reason and it is wonderfully motivating.
