Canned tuna can improve conditions related to diabetes cancer & even depression. Studies have shown those who eat tuna 2X pr week are less prone to a heart attack & can lower triglycerides. Tuna is important for a person who diets because of the omega 3's B vitamins& healthy unsaturated fats. Pick tuna canned in water or a pouch. Too much tuna is not good for those who get gout as tuna has purines. Mercury too so dont eat it every day!
Take out the Mayo when making Tuna Salad. I simply add a can of tuna, mustard, and pickle relish. There's a ton of flavor without all those extra calories. Instead of bread I grab some Romaine Lettuce leaves and spread my tuna mix over it. It's delicious.
