  • jibbie, unfortunatly sometimes we dont listen to our moms.. we think they are just being a pain. but you also have to remember that some times even the most carefull of planning can blow up in your face. it did for me and now i am struggling to make ends meat and keep a roof over our head, and trust me i did alot of that but things still dont work out the way we plan. i didnt plan on my son... i was planning on a 4yr college and then marriage... i got neither. it took me 8yrs for me to finnish college and im still not married. - by DAFROGGY82

  • Good for you. Taking care of yourself will help you be a better person and Mom. - by ROOTIHAUSMAN
  • I preach to my 19 yod daily to finish college and get through Dental School before she even THINKS about having a kid, so she will NEVER depend on a man for support. Even if she marries a nice guy, he won't feel burdened to support her. She worked at SUBWAY with several girls who had kids already and a worthless boyfriend, or no support from the "Baby Daddy" so she saw how it was. I tell her life is about PLANNING. Otherwise, Life plans YOU. - by JIBBIE49
