I am an emotional eater among many other problems as well. I found out that if I get hungry in the evening and feel like I need to nosh, I get some smoked almonds and cranraisins and mix them into a 3rd of a cup, and snack slowly on them. Very satisfying to me, and helps me get more fiber. emoticon
