    You can make your own yogurt to save money as well! You just need milk, a good, natural starter, and some time! Google "make your own yogurt" for more info.

    It probably would be a good idea to cover the top of the lined colander in order to avoid tastes and smells from other foods migrating into the yogurt. Also: paper coffee filters will work if you don't have cheesecloth, but make sure they're unbleached or it will affect the taste.
