One day during a bike ride, I found a silly band on the ground (rubber band shaped liked a dinosaur). My kids love 'em! So now I put it on my handlebars & whenever I hit a tough hill & I feel like quittin', I look at that silly band & think "what if my kids were watchin?" BOOM - pump baby pump!!

Sneaky ways to get in protein and stay fuller longer!
The newest additions to the Yoplait family is the Greek yogurt and Yoplait smoothies. The Greek yogurt is yummy, unlike other brands, if you don't get unflavored, 130 calories, 12 grams of protein, 0 fat. Smoothies use only skim milk and are 140 calories plus 1 cup of skim milk. Yum!
Find ways to compete with yourself or with others! If your gym has a way to record your accomplishments, try that. Improving steadily no matter how heavy you are is great motivation. With a point system it doesn't matter what exercise you are doing, as long as you're doing something!
There is something about points that just does it for me whether it is here on SP or with FitLinxx points from my gym. The strength machines are set up to record your settings, count your reps & weight lifted. Cardio is recorded too. Doing well in the standings is a real extra perk.
