Tracking every bite, even though it can be boring and mundane, will actually keep you accountable and consistent. The weeks that I have gotten rid of weight is when I was really tracking. When I wasn't consistent is when i gained.

Track only one thing at a time, once you get used to tracking add others. I started with my steps then moved onto km then added water and just this week I added all my food. I know they always told you tracking worked . I had to learn the hard way; Lesson well learned it was a big eye opener. Start slow.

I can be in denial about how much I am eating. For me it is important to use the tracker to keep me honest and not over-eating. It also keeps me from under-eating. Basically, it just takes out all the guesswork.
