I have found that water mixed with a little bleach cleans chrome very, very well. Use a paper towel and just wipe it down, then dry it with another paper towel. Not only does it make is shine like Windex does but it also keeps water from sticking to it, which we know can cause water spots.
MORE INFORMATION:
Doing this means you don't have to clean your chrome everyday, more like every two or three days which can save you some time =) Hope this helps!!

Spray it with vinegar. Mildew on grout is no match for that miracle household cleaning dynamo called vinegar. Just pour somewhite vinegar into a container, dip in an old toothbrush, and scrub away at the mildew. Or pour the vinegar into a spray bottle, squirt it on the mildew, and let it sit for ten minutes. Rinse with water and apply the old toothbrush if necessary. Bleach is effective in removing mildew from tile grout. (con't) 432
MORE INFORMATION:
Fill a spray bottle with equal parts of household chloride bleach and water. Spray the grout, let it sit a few minutes, and then wipe with a clean white cotton cloth.
Forget keeping skin soft, baby oil also polishes chrome. Apply a dab to a cotton cloth and use it to shine everything from faucets to hubcaps. You'll end up with shiny, happy surfaces from a medicine-cabinet staple. (Who actually owns chrome cleaner, anyway?) 432
