learning to be patient with myself
I've gradually realized that I'm more forgiving of my mistakes and more patient with myself. I used to think that if I messed up, I was a failure. Now I realize I'm just human, and I get back on track as soon as I can, drink extra water, eat lots of fibre and go for a walk. One meal or one day, or even one bad week-end does not make a failure.252
