If your goal is to decrease and/or eliminate the caffeine in coffee, try easing into that goal with part decaf and part regular coffee. I use high quality (bold) decaf with half mild regular coffee. That way I get some caffeine and avoid caffeine withdrawal side effects.

Once your body gets accustom to the reduction, change the proportions until you are just drinking decaf.
Just sprinkle a little cinnamon, or pumpkin spice over the grounds before you start the coffee maker. Your coffee will taste great. I do it with ground decaf coffee. It really saves money over the coffee shop coffee.
If you're still hungry after you've finished your meal, don't go straight for seconds. Instead, make a cup of hot green tea and drink it first. If you're still hungry after that tea, then go ahead and eat a small additional portion... but chances are, you won't be.
