When traveling to a new city I love to pick a direction and just start walking. I find better food and shopping choices by getting off the tourist routes and checking the local paths. It's also great and fun excerise.

Remember that awesome vacation you had (probably years ago), it can help you through today's stressful moments.... Just close your eyes and picture yourself back on that vacation. Walk the beach, ride a horse, or anything that was a fantastic moment during a past vacation. Spend a few minutes in this mini vacation visualization exercise. When you open your eyes you'll find you are more relaxed and less stressed than you had been a few minutes before.

I love going to the Disney theme parks, and I find these to be versions of a vacation planned around "exercise." There is no good way to enjoy the parks without doing as much walking as you would on a walking tour vacation, especially in Florida where the walking is intensified. Throw in some afternoon swimming at the hotel pool, and you need not use that hotel workout room to burn calories!
All of the Disney parks now offer healthy options at pretty much every restaurant, so it is fairly simple to get nutritious food that doesn't negate all that activity you'll be getting!
