We get ready popped Amaranth Grains in India.1 cup of these contains 170mg.Potassium,7gms.Protein and 7gms. Fiber as well as31gms.of Carbs. Combined with 1 cup of Milk and 5 finely chopped Dates/Dry Apricots/Dry Figs/a fistfull of Raisins it makes an extremely healthy and nutritious Breakfast.

I also like to use various Fruits like tiny Honey Bananas,Litchees,fresh Figs,Strawberries-----there are many tasty healthy and nutritious options.Those who prefer it sweet can use Zero Calorie Splenda along with these Fruits and Milk.
