When I make soups and spaghetti sauce and Chili I make extra and freeze them in freezer bags. After they are frozen you can stand them up or leave them lying down. I also do this with fruit when it is on sale. I can have fruit year round. emoticon

    I had been thinking about doing this, but was afraid of what the fruit consistency would be after thawing...
