I keep a list of 6 goals on a chart next to my bed. Every night before I turn out the light, I check off what I have done each day. The idea is that after 21 days of continually doing something, it will become part of your normal routine.

If you find yourself staring at a piece of food you can't seem to say no to stop for a brief moment and explain to yourself why you should have the food or better still why you should NOT have the food. Do it out loud if you're alone or explain it to a friend if you're in company.
Don't mindlessly eat, force yourself to be accountable. Make yourself rationalize your choices.
