Grow Fresh Herbs On Your Kitchen Windowsill

This Sparked Me!

For the same price as a bunch of cut fresh herbs at the supermarket, you can buy a small potted herb plant at Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Keep it on your kitchen windowsill and use when you're cooking. Fresh herbs add so much flavor that you won't even miss the salt and fat you cut out of the recipe!

I just got some fresh mint from my Mom...she has space to have a garden. I dont and my condo faces away from the sun, and I dont have a kitchen I have nowhere to put a tiny herb plan. It sucks...even if I put it on the balcony porch it would only get a sliver of sun for 15 mins, and that would be it and it would also be too cold in fall/winter. So I need help finding ways to store fresh herb I buy or get from people. Now that I am trying to eat healthy this is even more an issue! emoticon

Totally agree with this....and if they are growing right in front of you one tends to use them....
