When I want something in between meals. 3:00p.m. I sip on a A & W Root Beer, it has lots of flavor, and taste sweet all at once, by the time I get to 3/4 of the can, I can't drink it all cause it taste too sweet!

What I miss the most in low calorie diets is dessert. I cannot eat just one or two cookies. For 100 calories, I have a sixteen ounce root beer float. I use diet root beer and one-half cup (100 calories) of slow churned low fat vanilla ice cream. Mmmmmmm delicious and extremely satisfying!
If you are having difficulty getting over regular soda and want to switch to diet soda but can't stomach the flavor try filling most of your glass with diet and topping it off with the real stuff. It gives it the flavor of regular but for a fraction of the calories.
If you are at a fast food place and really really want the root beer ...fill up most of it with diet Coke (or Pepsi) and top it off with the root beer. It will taste exactly like root beer and again for a fraction of the calories.
