I like a small gluten free frozen pizza. It cooks in 10 minutes and is only 400 calories. If I cut it into four slices it doesn't seem like enough food, but if I cut it into eight slices, it seems like more food and I feel satisfied when I'm done eating it.
This also works with grilled cheese sandwiches.

Lets face it pizza is GOING to get ordered or served in my house. I recently ordered it double cut (instead of 8 slices of pizza you would have 16) and it worked like a charm. I enjoyed my "Two" slices of pizza which in reality were only one!!!
okay so we all love pizza and especially home made ones but sometimes we want a light pizza without the heavy base. I suggest an alternative, a zucchini crusted pizza base. Here is the recipe: 2 cups grated zucchini 2 eggs, beaten 1/4 cup flour 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated 1 pinch basil or 1 pinch marjoram or 1 pinch rosemary (optional) 2 tablespoons olive oil YUM! great way to cut down carbs
When eating pizza I have found that taking clean paper napkins and gently blotting the top of your pizza will wick up a fair amount of oils . The last time I had pizza at our favorite place I used 3 napkins on an 8 inch square pizza. I figure any oil I take off the top of my pizza is that much less oil that I am not taking in.
