By the time you argue with yourself, and play the would I and should I game. You could be done. I just tell myself that I will do it for 10 minutes I can quit. Most of the time that's all it takes and I am always glad I did it.

My daughter who is 18 is probably in the obese category. I have asked her directly to take a look at SparkTeen but she refuses. What I realized is that the indirect approach seems to have more effect. I make sure to track when she is in the room. I measure my food and she notices because we are often in the kitchen together. Slowly I hope to show good habits, be available for questions and stoke that slow burning fire so that when she is ready she will have the tools and information available.
