It's true. The times I take to prep all my veggies after I get home from the store & before they get put away, the more I am apt to cook with them or snack from them because it takes less time when I want to cook or eat. Takes just a bit of time at first but pays off BIG later....

Problem with this tip is that you lose vitamins after you cut into the food.

great idea! I find this to be true for me, too. I also package my snacks in portion ready baggies so all I have to do to pack lunch is grab the preportioned items and go!!! I do sooooo much better when I do it this way!

I always grocery shop in my workout clothes; even when I am not going to the store immediately following a workout, I still put them on to grocery shop. There is something about being in my workout gear that keeps my mind in the right mode while choosing what I will bring home with me. Just a little trick that has worked wonders for me!
When I go grocery shopping, I am surprised by the kinds of foods I don't buy anymore. Ice cream, chips, soda. I see them in other shopping carts & wonder why people are wasting their nutrition dollars on junk when they could have yogurt, oranges, and lemon water instead. My tastes HAVE changed!
