I had diet therapy and he always said 10 days. Go strict for 10 days to see how your body feels. When I would be tempted to cheat, I would say I could have it after the 10 days. It was long enough to build a good habit, and let me know my body feels better eating healthy (more energy, less pain)

    very good - I am going to try it. 10 days I should be able to do that.

    I try and do 10 pounds at a a time too. It makes it a lot easier to set that goal. When you are looking at 60 pounds it is overwhelming. But 10- no problem!

    sounds likea good idea. I think i will try staying as close to the sp die t as I can although I need to decrease the carb and increase the protien some because of diabetes
