I have purchased a really pretty water bottle. it encourages me to drag it around with me ( it matches my purse). Also because it's so pretty I display it on my desk, and that reminds me to get my water in!!.

In order to get 8 glasses a day I add a few slices of apple or cucumber or sprigs of mint to my water. It helps to keep me interested in the water instead of getting bored of the taste. I also drink it through a straw which helps me drink more, faster without realizing. Get lemon wedges at restaurants instead of soda or iced tea and avoid the packets of flavor since there is a lot of added sugar. Keep it natural and experiment!
You can flavor water with pretty much anything - melon, any citrus (I love limes) just get creative for a subtle flavor!
I like flavor in my water, so I add things to it. Don't think of it as watered down diet soda or juice or gatoraid. Think of it as good tasting water. I dilute it pretty heavily now. The more I get used to it, the more I increase the water. Pretty soon the water will be plain and I'll like it.91
