If you stay in the gym for at least an hour every day you will see results. Everything these days is meant to save you time and that includes saving time on your workout. I hate to say it, but if you really want to see results and in a reasonable amount of time, it means staying the in gym.
I worked out 2 muscles groups a day with strength training and spent at least 30 minutes doing cardio. I did this every day, except maybe one day off a week. Put in the time to get the results.
