Unfortunately my family has a history of illness, which is very sad, but because of this I find that I am more motivated to exercise. My older sister who is very ill, keeps encouraging me on because she doesn't want her siblings to suffer as she has to. I love you Big Sis. Thank you.

I found my motivation in helping others and giving back to my community. I started a bootcamp at the local park for anyone who wanted to join. Not only am I getting into shape but am helping others as well. That's motivation enough for me!!!306
After a successful day of tracking food and exercising, I find nothing more motivating than settling down to a good dose of 'Biggest Loser', 'Last 10lb Boot Camp', 'Supersize vs Superskinny' and 'I used to be fat', among other programmes. I set up to record a series and get enjoyment and motivation from watching others succeed at their weight loss goals. I remind myself as often as possible, that 'if they can do it, I can do it!'.
These programmes reinforce the positive messages I am telling myself daily and keep me focussed. So when you've enjoyed seeing all the motivational and inspirational people on SparkPeople.com, there are more to enjoy.
