Sweetie we know what we have to do to keep our bodies healthy and stretching is very important part of exercising

I really pay for it when I don't stretch. I have arthritis so when I don't I do hurt the next morning - sometimes can barely walk for a while. But stretching helps so much!!
Too many times people cut down their stretching time after a workout to little or nothing. It pays to do it right. I do each stretch on a long 15-30 sec hold on every limb. Repeat twice. Most DVD's go way too fast and change their positions too quickly. I do my own stretches on my own time. Shortchanging your stretching is hurting your body. I feel really good stretching out properly and my body thanks me afterward with no soreness or stiffness.
MORE INFORMATION:
Stretching properly also increases your flexibility. Nothing beats that when you get older. I feel sorry for all those people running out of the gym and not stretching out or giving it a cursory two second pose on each part.
I have incorporated stretching into my daily route of cleaning. When I go to make the beds I place my legs one at a time up on our bed and stretch. As I go through the day I stretch while doing my daily chores, when vacuuming I stretch my sides, reach for the stars or cob webs! Be creative STRETCH!
