It can be helpful to write down, in advance, the pros & cons of giving in to a binge & ponder it daily, especially when stressed, or when feeling cravings.
I use a 3x5 roller index & write out Pro's & Con's on a 3x5 card, then hole punch it, & stick it into roller index & place on the bathroom counter (where I brush my teeth & wash my face mornings), as that's the best place for me to see it on a daily basis!

If you ever seriously consider giving up ( which I know you won't ) take a couple of minutes, draw a line down the middle of a sheet of paper and list the pros and cons of your decision. This will help to remind you why you started in the first place and the consequences of turning back
After researching so much about bagless vacs, I recently invested in a good one. I am sorry I did. Even weighing all the pros and cons, it's yucky to clean out the accumulated dust, wash the filter, etc. every third time the house has been vacuumed. I hate it and wish I'd stuck to those with bags. The dust goes up my nose when cleaning this thing out. Yikes!
I find that telling my sister on the phone each day what I have or haven't done diet-wise, really picks me up and gets me going. Discussing the pros and cons of different ideas or laughing at something silly we've done while trying to lose weight, really takes the edge off it all and makes it easier
