Eating raw fresh veggies and fruit, organic where possible, really fills me up and gives me all the nutrients and enzymes nature intended for good digestion and good health. You can eat, nearly, unlimited quantities of these foods without blowing your plan. Raw is so much better than cooked.
To make my favorite lunch, all you need is a tomato, a 1/4 onion, a half cucumber, a whole wheat hoagie roll, a jar of banana peppers, and a jar of jalapenos. Cut a 6" length of the roll and throw out excess middle bread. Load it up with veggies, no condiments required. Filling and yummy!
