Do you have a nice, low calorie recipe for a stew, chili, saucy dish, or topping, but find that once you add in the obligatory noodles or rice for it to sit on, its now way more calories than you wanted? Instead of pasta, try spinach. Instead of rice, try cauliflower rice!
For spinach, just buy the kind that comes fresh in a bag, in the salad section. slit a hole in it and microwave for 2-3 minutes. Drain, place under your fave stew. For "rice", food process raw cauliflower, add 1 T h2o and nuke for 7 min covered. I add a little nooch, salt, pepper, and mushrooms.
