Never spend your coins, keep a container handy and put all your coins in it. When it is full deposit the coins in a savings account. It adds up very quickly. Teach your children this trick too. They will benefit from watching savings grow. Use a clear container for the kids.

    I do this too and it's amazing how fast coins add up! I cash in my piggy bank and use it as extra spending money when I go on trips. :)

    Yes, it is surprising how pocket change adds up in a short time. I have been doing that for the past couple of years. emoticon
