After you exercise, always log it into the fitness tracker on SparkPeople. Pretty soon you'll look forward to logging your exercise minutes, and it'll be a reward every time you do your workout. You may even find yourself working out for longer, just so that you can log more minutes!

    I am so glad you posted this. I find myself doing things to earn points. I was beginning to think I was a little weird. It is nice to know others do this as well. So, I guess the points are a pretty good motivator.

    I do this more to see how much I am actually doing rather than for the points. The points are the added bonus.

    I fell in love with SP by competing for points...I looked for opptys everywhere...beyon belonging to team and gaining points...logging fitness is the best way to buld pont totals...for a number nut like myself!!!

    I log in daily, but as far as the points they are just a game nothing conclusive so in reality it should not matter. I like the fact that I can keep track rather than collect points.

    Yes, I do this as it keep s me accountable and aware of the things I'm doing, how may calories I'm burning, to increase where I need to and with the nutrition food tracker, where I'm lacking, where my calories are coming form and the nutrition valule.
