It can be overwhelming if we focus too much on our ultimate goal weight, especially if we have a substantial amount of weight to lose. To prevent discouragement, break that big goal down into smaller, more manageable ones, and set up a reward for every goal reached. Nothing motivates like success!

This is and this is what I am doing ever since I started SP. I have along way to go and it's going to take time, but I am not going to stop. I know that I'm heavy, so I did not stress the measuring. I did weigh my first day, but I will way on my goal date. Eating right and exercising is my goal until then. Continue to do your best

Mini challenges
Mini challenges help me stay motivated. Instead of thinking "I will be consuming x amount of calories until I reach goal" I now break my goal down per week and tell myself I will consume x amount of calories and burn x amount at the gym this week. Breaking it down into a 7 day challenge makes it more manageable in my opion!
Set small daily achievements, break your big goal down into small steps which you can easily win and gain self confidence. It is like the old saying "How do you eat an elephant?" One bite at a time. So break down your goal into small manageable steps to develop your success!
This cookbook is really neat. After the typical "kitchen gadget" section, it's broken down into two categories: fruits and vegetables. These are then broken down into subcategories, telling you about each type of fruit and veg (broken down by section), varieties, how to pick them &c.
MORE INFORMATION:
At the end of each section, it gives recipes using the ingredients covered in that particular section. It even has a lot of produce items that I was unfamiliar with.
Even if you don't get it as a cookbook, it's still an interesting and informative read with lots of pretty pictures.
