We allow ourselves cheats, but only on the weekend. One small bag of chips, or a pop. Nothing more, and it isn't ate after that if there are leftovers!

this is very true....you have to allow yourself treats once in a while but as you said, be sure to track them.

Allow yourself "cheat" days once in a while, maybe once a month. Don't count your calories that day, eat whatever you've been craving and only eat until you're full. When you have a craving write it down and then on cheat day see if you still feel like eating it.
