Instead of using salt or pepper I season with Adobo seasoning. The seasoning can be found in the Ethnic section or near the spices in the grocery store. I use Adobo on almost everything that needs to be seasoned.
According to Ayurveda table Salt has lots of Sodium.Ayurveda advises the use of White Rock Salt instead---add it after the Food is 80% cooked---this will reduce the quantity of your Sodium intake.Failing White Rock Salt one can use Sea Salt too.
Many people are not aware that simply cutting your salt intake can cause you to lessen your sugar cravings.Canned vegetables have sodium, bottled salad dressings have high sodium content.Make your own vinegar and oil dressing. Cereal contains as much as 1,000 mg of sodium a serving. Keep in mind that even a mild dehydration will cause your body to crave for both salt and sugar. Drink lots of water.
