As soon as I come in with the fresh produce, I place some "ready to eat" fruit (I cut some into pieces) in plastic container and leave them out. The kids would grab them as they are playing. I prepare it for the next day in stay fresh container, and place it in the front of the fridge.
Instead of potato chips I get carrots, broccoli, celery, and fat free ranch, and do the same like with the fruits. The kids love it!!
