I find that having a scheduled time for exercise, one that everyone knows and has agreed on, is the best way to keep exercising & not lose focus.
Mine is right when I hit the door coming home from work. I run straight into my exercise clothes and head downstairs without stopping. Everyone in the house knows this, & since I've never made an exception, they wait until I'm finished. Its only 45 min or less. Whatever they need can wait.
I do a lot of shopping online and have my favorite discount web sites, smartbargains is one of my favorite, when you sign up they will send email on even bigger discounts. I have a nightly beach rental so this is the only place I buy my bedding and towels. BUT my biggest tip would be to use "ebates" its a free site with hundreds of stores to choose from. Free to sign up, then when your shopping go to their site first, click the store you want and when you make a purchase you get cash back!
I needed a new washer and dryer, Home Depot was having a sale, and I found the set I wanted. Instead of buying at the store I went home and ordered the set through ebates, free shipping to store (free deliver from HD) and got a check for $86! choose stores with free shipping to store and pick up.
I set alarms in my phone to keep me on track. I have an alarm for blogging my progress, I have an alarm for working out, etc. These alarms are helping me hold myself accountable. It's hard to "forget" when you have an alarm interrupting you.
