I love to read and I have combined reading a good book with staying active. In order to get motivated to walk or exercise, I listen to books on my I Touch. I have listened to two books this month (60 hours each)! I can't wait to finish the third book. Music after teaching second graders is not a good idea, so listening to books is worth every second!149
I have been trying to start running. It is way too intimidating if I try to run the whole time. So I walk for 90 seconds, then run 60 seconds. I switch off the whole time. There are podrunner intervals on itunes that help with the interval switch from faster to slower music and vice versa.
I have also read in several places that intervals give more fat burn. So go out and give it a try!
